Monday 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. (by appointment)
Tuesday-Friday: 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (appointments can be made between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m.)
Sunday: 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Membership: $700.00 the year
Open/practice fencing is encouraged at all times during Academy hours!
- All classes have rolling admission. If you miss a class, not to worry, we'll get you up to speed.
- Most classes meet several times a week. You do not have to show up for every class. Whatever fits your schedule, fits ours.
- You do not have to be a member to take classes or lessons.
Fairfield Fencing Academy Schedule and Fees (Sabre not included)
Basic Package:
$149.00 per month (members) $199.00 (for non members) includes two group classes per week
Semi-Competitive Package:
$199.00 per month (members) $300.00 (non members) includes one group class and one 20 minute private lesson per week.

Classes / Lessons:
Private/partner lessons: Meeting one-on-one with a coach on our staff allows you to maximize your focus and attention to learn the sport and sharpen your skills. If you are looking to fence with a friend or spouse, that is not a problem. We can accommodate you and your partner as well. Private lessons are 30 minutes long and can be made on an appointment basis to best fit your schedule.
Beginner classes (Youth): This is the perfect class for students looking to learn a new sport. We will cover footwork and bladework in foil.
Kids - Ages 7-10
Junior- Ages 10 & up
Adult Fencing classes: Looking for a new type of workout? Are you looking for something new to challenge both the body and mind? How about fencing? The high-energy sport many call "physical chess" will not only keep your brain sharp but will strengthen your core and your focus (foil and epee).
Intermediate Fencing: Have you fenced before, but feel you need to polish your skills? Or maybe you're looking to stay sharp in between bouts? The intermediate fencing class is the place to do just that.
Musketeers Intro: Do you have a little one who really wants to fence? Then the Musketeers fencing class is for them. The class is designed for the smallest of fencers using the safest equipment possible. With an emphasis on fun, as well as learning all the skills needed to be a star, your child will have a great experience.

Private Lessons:
Private lessons are made on a per appointment basis.
Members: $45 (half hour)
Non-Members: $60 (half hour)
Group Classes:
The Academy features various group classes for students of all ages and abilities.
Make up classes:
MUST be made up with in the first week of the new month
Birthday Parties:
~ $350.00 non members, $275.00 members
~ A FFA t-shirt for the birthday boy or girl
~ All paper good, set up & clean up
~ 1 hour of fencing time with kids safe equipment
~ 2 party coordinators to help
High School Fencing
Want to fence in High School but your school does not have fencing team? No Problem. We can set up a program for you and your school mates. This program is designed for the highschooler that want to fence at the competitive level. We will train you and your school mates with the goal of fencing in the State of Connecticut High Tournaments to be held in February and March of this year. Yes, that right! You can fence in the State High School Championship tournaments under our USFA badge!!Contact us and we will put a program together for you and your school mates.
